It is quite nice to see people adding my drawings to their favorites; it is quite encouraging to an upcoming artist! I'll try to upload all my artwork I do, can't guarantee it'll be any good though! Thanks to my viewers.. for well, viewing! :)

Thanks for the fave!
It's not letting me add comments to your work! GRR... new versions are always buggy at first.

Your line work is nice and crisp, and you seemed to have avoided most of the proportion problems most people run into as they learn to draw. Your "F-15C" and "Margray Kitten" in particular are very nicely drawn, IMHO.

"Evil Chair" made me smile... That chair (and its kin) is probably the most hated piece of furniture on the planet. I heard tales, passed down second or third hand, of it having arson threats and hate letters found taped to it. At least you had a relatively forgiving angle to draw it from...

One thing you might want to try next semester (and in any work you do this summer) is try to push the contrast in your drawings. It makes a world of difference in the readability and impact of your work when you use the lighting to bring out the sections of your work that you want the viewer to focus on. Remember you have the entire scale of value to play with, from white (0%) to black (100%); it's a common fault to stay in the safe and comfortable middle and avoid the two extremes, and the work that results (however well-drawn) becomes grey and boring from any distance at all.

Have fun with the values! Right now (during the summer) you have the freedom to make any art you want; you might try finding a photo you really like with very strong contrast and drawing that...

*gets down off soapbox*
I hope DA will fix the problem soon, so that I can comment on people's work individually; but I think I covered most of what I was going to say here. Longwinded much?

I like your work; I think you'll go far. If you ever need help or want input on your art, I'm around.
Thanks for the comments! Aye, my problem, along with most, is pushing my values. I'm never sure how dark to go. And with my cat and Grandpa the stripes were pretty dark as was his hat, and the shadow's weren't as dark as those so I was trying to get the same feel as the photo without going as pitch black as the hat and stripes. Two hard subjects to do. I have another photo actually that I really want to do, only problem is most of the values are very DARK, almost no light tones. I'll probably be drawing another picture here shortly at request of my Grandfather, but the picture he wants done... is yeah, a very bad subject to draw, along with horrible contrast in values and a blurry picture to boot. So that'll be interesting.
Oh, the joys of working for family... :P

Blurry, poor contrast, difficult subject... yeah, don't expect that one to be your best picture ever. Just don't get too frustrated with it, eh?
